Mr. Mark Scott became Gander Gold’s founding CEO in 2021 and quickly took the company public on March 8, 2022, as a spinout of Sassy Resources Corporation (CSE: SASY) now known as Sassy Gold. As Head of Manitoba Nickel Operations for Vale Canada through 2018, he managed a combined annual OPEX and CAPEX budget of greater than $500 million (USD) including a workforce of approximately 1,875. Mark has more than 25 years of experience in all phases of surface and underground mining, metallurgical processing, and associated service and support functions, within multiple mining majors.

Mr. Fraser has over 35 years’ experience as an exploration geologist. He’s an expert in geological models and structural settings, and has been involved in the discovery of six gold deposits in North and South America with three of those having gone into production. As VP Exploration for Gander Gold, Mr. Fraser oversees all exploration activities of the Company and a broad support team that includes Technical Advisor Shawn Ryan, GroundTruth Exploration, “Gold Hunter” Mike Middleton and his prospecting crew, and Sudbury-based consultant Ronacher McKenzie Geoscience.

Since 1997 Mr. McGrath has been President of SCM Consulting Corp., a private financial consulting company, through which he has provided accounting and CFO services to numerous publicly traded companies in a variety of industries including mining, oil and gas, manufacturing and technology. Mr. McGrath, who is also currently CFO of Sassy Gold and Allegiant Gold, played a key role in the quick listing of Gander Gold. He originally achieved his Certified General Accountant designation in 1999 and subsequently obtained his CPA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia in 2015.

Mr. Coughlan has been actively involved in the resource industry since 1984. Notably, each of his previous three public companies developed a producing mine. He’s the former Chairman, President and CEO of GoGold Resources (TSX: GGD), and played a key role building GoGold into a highly successful Canadian-based gold and silver producer in Mexico. Previously he was Vice-President and Director of Gammon Gold, and Vice-President and Director of Acadian Mining. Currently he’s also a Director of Sassy Gold as well as President and CEO of newly-listed Mongoose Mining.

Mr. Savage brings extensive capital markets’ expertise, financial contacts and strategic planning to Gander Gold, including a very successful 28-year career as an investment adviser (Board of Directors with Yorkton Securities and Vice-President Richardson GMP) where he was consistently a top producer. Throughout his career he has advised and managed a diverse client base of over 2,000 accounts and was responsible for IPO’s, private placements and capital pool companies. His vast market experience will be instrumental in accomplishing Gander’s goal of driving shareholder value.

Ms. McLauighlin is a professional mining engineer with 27 years of technical, operations and leadership experience with Noranda, Falconbridge, Xstrata, Vale and Stantec. As Innovation Leader for Stantec’s Energy & Resources operating unit from 2013 to 2021, she led the company’s creativity and innovation program which brought new approaches and solutions to its mining, oil and gas, and power and dams business lines. Her specific areas of specialization include mine design and production engineering, principles of lean manufacturing, design for six sigma within capital projects, and agile mine design and operation.

Mr. Booth has more than 30 years of experience in exploration, mining corporate finance and public company administration, holding several positions including CEO and VP Corporate Development. He is Principal of Highwood Advisory Services Inc., a private financial advisory company he founded in 1999. He has also worked for two of Canada’s largest investment banks, executing equity financings for both junior and senior companies and was involved in a variety of significant mergers and acquisitions. He is currently a Director of Heliostar Metals (TSXV: HSTR). His experience will be of great value to Gander Gold as a discovery leader in Newfoundland.
